Ja pro sve manuskripty pro Elsevier pouzivam nasledujici
upravy a nikdy jsem se nesetkal s problemy ze strany
vydavatele. Pro seznam popisku pak pouzivam \listoffigures.

% definitions to follow requirements for the manuscript
\usepackage[notablist,nomarkers]{endfloat}
\makeatletter
%  no figure captions
\renewcommand{\@makecaption}[2]{}%
\renewcommand{\@makefigurecaption}[2]{}%
% no pagenumbers in List of Figures
\renewcommand*{\l at figure}[2]{%
\setlength\@tempdima{5.5em}%
\let\baselinestretch\@blstr%
\noindent #1\hfil\newline\newline }
% figures should be numbered with bold "Figure #: "
\renewcommand*{\numberline}[1]{\hb at xt@\@tempdima{{\bfseries Figure #1:}\hfil}}
% all text should be "doublespaced", probably including figure captions
\renewcommand{\processdelayedfloats}{{%
  \def\baselinestretch{1.7}\normalsize
   \let\figure\@bfig
   \let\table\@btab
   \processdelayedfloats at hook
   \if at tablesfirst \processtables\processfigures
   \else \processfigures\processtables \fi
   \processotherdelayedfloats}}
\makeatother
