[cstex] Poskozeny PDF soubor

Dobrý den,

omlouvám se za mírně OT dotaz, ale podobné problémy se tu občas řeší. 
Dostali jsme PDF soubor, který nemůžeme otevřít - odesílatel přitom 
žádné problémy nemá. xpdf hlásí:
Error: PDF file is damaged - attempting to reconstruct xref table...
Error: Catalog object is wrong type (null)
Error: Couldn't read page catalog
a gv hlásí:
    **** Warning:  An error occurred while reading an XREF table.
    **** The file has been damaged.  This may have been caused
    **** by a problem while converting or transfering the file.
    **** Ghostscript will attempt to recover the data.
Acroread ho taky neotevře (jenom ta hláška není moc informativní).
