"As for XeTeX on Linux, the current development version of the code can
be built and run on Linux (it's been tried successfully on SuSE 10 and
Ubuntu Breezy, at least), but there is still some installation and
packaging work needed to put a release package together. When a package
is ready for general use it will be announced on the XeTeX mailing list
and web site, and perhaps elsewhere."
