xpdf - problém s Type 3 fonty

Dobrý den,
měl bych tento začátečnický dotaz:

mám např. takovýto soubor:
-----test01.tex-----
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage[latin2]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{czech}

\begin{document}
ěščřžýáíéúů
\end{document}
--------------------
pokud ho zpracuji pomocí těchto příkazů:
cslatex test01.tex
dvips test01.dvi
ps2pdf test01.ps

tak při pokusu o jeho zobrazení:
xpdf test01.ps
dostanu tuto chybu:
Error: This document uses Type 3 fonts - some text may not be correctly
displayed

pokud použiji:
pdfcslatex test01.tex
tak se vše v xpdf zobrazí správně.

Dotaz je, jak zabráním použití Type 3 fontů?
