      LaTeX release June97 available


The LaTeX Programming Team is pleased to announce (somewhat late) the
availability of the June97 release. As usual, it is available from
CTAN in the directories

   macros/latex/base
   macros/latex/unpacked
   macros/latex/doc

For information about this release, see the file ltnews07.tex in the
distribution. Most notably, this release is the first ot support the
ec fonts out of the box.

In addition, the tools, graphics and mfnfss bundles have been updated and=
 are available from CTAN in

   macros/latex/packages/tools
   macros/latex/packages/graphics
   macros/latex/packages/mfnfss
