pub-tex & co, Version 2.1

CTAN now contains the latest version 2.1 of
PubliC TeX/METAFONT/MetaPost and the Dos-TP versions of the
utilities:
  assumes TDS (TeX directory structure), functionality similar to
    that of web2c/kpathsea
  run-time support (some basic tex, tfm, ... files, doc files)
  source (requires TP compiler) with unix make like utilities
    to generate and install programms
  executables
  NO formats etc., those have to be generated

     systems/msdos/dos-tp/README
     systems/msdos/dos-tp/run/run*.zip   run-time support
     systems/msdos/dos-tp/run/src*.zip   sources
     systems/msdos/dos-tp/run/exe*.zip   precompiled executables

changes against previous version 2.0
  new includes BibTeX, MetaPost, mpware,
     and a (still somewhat incomlete) beta test version of eTeX
  many programs can now read files in unix format (e.g. mounted
     as network drives via nfs, or ...)
  small executables named tex, plaintex, latex,
     that invoke virtex with a fixed default format (plain, latex)
     or a default format read from the first line of the top-level
     input file; same for MF and MP.
