To je zalezitost LaTeXu, najde se to v Document Preparation Guide i v
LaTeX Companion. Strucne vysvetleni:

counter topnumber = max. pocet floatu nahore (specifikace t)
counter bottomnumber = max. pocet floatu dole (specifikace b)
counter totalnumber = max. pocet floatu na strance celkem
(vse se nastavuje prikazem \setcounter)

Makra (menit pomoci \renewcommand):
\topfraction = max podil stranky pro floaty nahore
\bottomfraction = max podil stranky pro floaty dole
\textfraction = min podil stranky, ktery musi obsahovat text

Napriklad v TeXbulletinu 1/96 pouzivam:

\renewcommand\topraction{0.9}
\renewcommand\textfraction{0.1}
